Viruses ,bacteria ,we can deal with them!

We have bacteria ,viruses and fungi living on the surface of our body.
They are called 'flora' ,they are our friends !
In our mouths , they make food tasty!
In our anal canal ,they prevent us from running to the toilet all the time!

But sometimes we are exposed to other highly infectious bacteria or viruses which can cause lethal diseases.
Let's talk about IMMUNITY ;
Our bodies have a special system for containing the different infections and toxic agents -this is Innate Immunity.
Acquired Immunity ,occurs as a response to specific diseases,the body makes 'Antibodies',against the invading organism ,or 'trains ' a specific cell group to destroy them.

Innate immunity is by white blood cells (leukocytes)
In blood these are about 7000/ micro litre and are in the following values-
(You must know them from your tests)
Neutrophils 62%
Eosinophils 2.3 %
Basophils 0.4%
Monocytes5.3%
Lymphocytes 30%

These white blood cells destroy bacteria or viruses by ingesting them(eating them up)and then releasing intracellular enzymes to destroy them,they themselves getting destroyed in the process!
(Aaah!their life's purpose!)
Lymphocytes specifically make antibodies against bacteria and viruses,and also sensitise groups of cells to  recognise  ' invaders' and destroy them ,that's Cell mediated Immunity.

It's obvious that we can deal with corona too,right?
